Toilets at the Carrs 1 June update    February 9, 2017

Wilmslow Town Council is delighted to report that lease and license agreements are now in place and that the construction phase of the project to bring much needed toilet facilities to the Carrs Park is almost complete. The final piece of then jigsaw is to get the utility company connections completed which should be completed very shortly.

The facility, which will provide a unisex toilet and a disability equipped unisex toilet, has been manufactured off-site as you can see from the photographs below. The building is clad in brick and is equipped with cctv to all elevations, the toilets are semi-automatic.

Ground works to accommodate the facility and the utility services commenced in  March 2017 with an opening date later during June 2017.

The refreshment kiosk which forms part of the building will provide an additional facility for park users and the income generated to the Town Council will fund on-going cleaning and maintenance costs. The use of the toilets will  incur a charge of 20 pence which will also be used towards future costs.
